White Broyhill Armoire...SOLD

I just refinished this beautiful Broyhill armoire and could not love it more! When this heavy, solid wood, dove tailed piece came to me it was a very dark wood tone with a cherry hue. It has been sanded, de-glossed, primed, and painted with several coats using an industrial sprayer for no brush strokes in a color called Du Jour by Valspar which is a beautiful shade of white...perfect match for any home! After the paint was applied, it was sanded again for a smooth finish, then I added an antiquing glaze to show off its beautifully ornate detailing, sealed it with a clear wax and finally applied a minimal coat of dark wax to give it an aged patina.

Altogether it stands a whopping 87 in. tall x 48 in. wide x 25 in. deep. It features a cubby that measures 35.25 in. tall x 40 in. wide x 23 in. deep, 1 drawer, and 6 shelves to organize and store all your goodies. I love to think outside the box when it comes to furniture and storage and while this is intended to be an entertainment armoire or TV hutch, I think it would also make an amazing closet or dresser for your clothing, a great addition to a bedroom or nursery. You could also us it in a dining room to store dishes, an office for all your paper needs, computer pieces, or electronics...the possibilities are endless!

Can you believe the transformation?!
