9 Drawer French Provincial Dresser...SOLD

Well, it's good to be back after a nice break. You know you love what you do when you take a break and are excited to get back at it!!

I found this dresser just Saturday and brought it home and even though my garage is full of other pieces waiting patiently to be loved back to life I had to do this one first. I think it is because I am so in ♥ with it. I love its body and when I decided its traditional frame had to meet the contemporary world {pairing it with gray} I was just too excited to wait. I think it is so classy and I hope you do too.

This would be such a beautiful statement piece in any room!! Of course, it was designed to be a dresser that would be gorgeous in ANY bedroom, but let’s not rule out the possibility of turning it into a TV console, a buffet or credenza, an entry way catch-all, added storage to an office or toy room. Endless possibilities here, peeps!!

This piece has been sanded, painted a beautiful shade by Valspar called "Stone Mason Gray", distressed, sanded again for a smooth finish and waxed to give it durable protection. I then replaced all of its original pulls and voile...perfection! It is a heavy wood piece featuring 9 drawers all of which are dove tailed. Six of them measure 13.5 in. deep x 19 in. wide x 5.5 in. and three of which are 13.5 in. deep x 14 in. wide x 5.5 in. The piece in its entirety measures 64 in. long x 17.5 in deep x 33 in tall.

Thanks for taking a peek~ Kell

{I have included a picture of the color swatch because the pictures don't do it justice...hope that helps!}

I'm back...

Hello friends, I hope you enjoyed your wonderful holiday season! We Arizonians were able to enjoy a white Christmas with family in Utah and it was delightful!!

I am happy now to be back on a normal schedule, however. As nice as it is to be away...thoughts from your day to day life creep in and make it scary to be away too long! Like my garage that has turned into a furniture graveyard {sorry hubby!!}

I now have 3 chairs, 2 dressers, 2 nightstands, 1 armoire, 1 changing table, 1 coffee table, a couch and a partridge in a pear tree living where my husband’s car should be. Ouch! My thought at attempting reupholstering chairs might just turn into a dream if I don't get my tooshie in gear!

That said, if you are looking for any of the above mentioned items and would like some pictures I would be happy to send some to you. I always love using my creativity to dream up colors but love custom finishing pieces for others as well. So I thought I would put that out there before I painted any of them...let you have 1st dibs if you will.

As always, you can e-mail me with any questions...I am happy to answer them!

Enjoy the rest of your evening ~Kell
