Beautiful Buffet...SOLD

If you love the shabby chic farmhouse look then you are going to drool over this piece! When I got it I thought at first glance that it wouldn't need TOO much work...hahaha! Well simply put, I was wrong. It had no backing which is a stabilizer and immediately I knew it needed bead board...which screams farmhouse to me! It also needed new wood for the shelves. The original parts were coming up on the edges and were very flimsy. I laugh because when I put so much love into a piece the small transformation that you see is quite large for me...and I love all that behind the scenes stuff! It also needed a good cleaning, sanding, paint in all the cubbies; I re-stained the top after filling in some imperfections and waxed it to seal it up.

I LOVE the finished product!! It is absolutely stunning and would look amazing as a TV console, credenza, changing table, buffet, entry table, or additional storage with baskets for an office.

All together it stands 66" long x 22" deep x 35" tall. The side cubbies are 17.5" tall x 21" deep with an opening of 13". The middle two cubbies are 31" wide x 19.5" deep; the tops opening is 4" tall and the bottoms is 8.5".

Happy start to your weekend, all! I hope it's a great one ~Kell

Stunning Dixie Mid Century Modern Dresser...SOLD

I love finishing a piece and preparing to post about it...but not as much as I love the actual piece! I L.O.V.E. the lines on this amazing Mid Century Modern dresser by Dixie. It is so clean but can be paired with any style of decor. I know it would look amazing with other pieces from its time but in the pictures I have posted, I paired it with more shabby chic items to show its versatility. I decided to paint it gray because it holds true to the era it came from but is also trendy in today’s world. You'll notice from the "before" pictures that one of the handles was different so to make it symmetrical, I replaced all three of the top handles with ones from the Mid Century in keeping with its look. I love how it turned out!!

What an awesome entry way table, buffet for a dining room, sofa table or TV console this would make!!

All together this piece stands 66.25 in. long x 30.5 in. tall x 18.5 in. deep and has 9 dove tailed drawers that measure 18.5 in. l x 14.25 in. deep and sink 4.5 in.

Thanks for dropping in ~Kell

Thomasville Armoire...SOLD

I love it when the weather plays nice and allows me to get some stuff done! If you live here in Arizona you know that Mother Nature has wreaked havoc on us as of late. Even today is supposed to rain...and possibly the rest of the week. Since I use an industrial sprayer I have to paint outside and we all know water and wood aren't friends! Don't get me wrong...I LOVE THE RAIN! When you live in a desert and see the sun 99% of the time you welcome the change :) But this last week has allowed me time to work on a couple pieces and that makes me happy! I posted one of them yesterday but lacked the muscles to carry the other in by myself so I wasn't able to get pictures until this morning...hehehe! When you see how big it is you'll know why I had to wait for my better half to get home and assist me!

This Thomasville armoire is gorgeous! And the light gray color that I painted it is absolutely stunning! I know that it will look amazing in any room it is placed in.

Altogether this solid wood piece stands 56.75 in. tall x 42 in. long x 20.5 in. deep. It has 6 dove tailed drawers {one with a jewelry holder and one with a divider} that measure:
Top: 33 in. long x 14.5 in. deep and sinks 5.25 in.
Middle three: 30.5 in. long x 14.5 in. with the top two sinking 5.25 in. and the third one 4.25 in.
Bottom two: 34.25 in. long x 15.5 in. deep and sink 6.25 in.

I hope you are enjoying the first signs of fall ~Kell

Gorgeous 12 Drawer Dresser...SOLD

What a gorgeous addition this would make to any home! Its storage can't be beat and its beauty alongside its bowed front is outstanding!! This solid wood dresser features 12 dove tailed drawers and is built to last a lifetime.

Everyone knows I love to think outside of the box with my pieces and dream of dressers as changing tables, office storage, buffets, TV consoles, and entry way tables. This would be amazing as any of the above.

It had a few cosmetic flaws which is why I decided to distress it more than I normally do as it adds to its naturally aged patina. I love showcasing something new and LOVE how it turned out. It has the most amazing shabby chic feel and the color is a beautiful cream with some strong gray undertones. Don't let the pictures fool you...the lighting makes it look more like a yellow undertone which it is not. {the first picture is most accurate} It is so stunning...a must see!

All together it stands 35 in. tall x 65 in. long x 22.5 in. deep
The left and right drawers measure 18 in. wide x 16 in. deep with the top 2 sinking 3.5 in. and the bottom 4 sinking 5.25 in.
The middle drawers measure 21.25 in. wide x 17.25 in. deep with the top sinking 3.5 in. and the bottom 2 sinking 5.25 in.
It also comes with a piece of cut glass for the top that has a small chip in the corner but in no way affects its use and is not necessary if you prefer not to use it.

Thanks for dropping by and happy Monday everyone!! ~Kell

Darling Pink Vanity...SOLD

I am so excited about this adorable solid oak set!! It is not too often that I get to do fun little sets like this and I am thrilled with the end result.

It had been hand painted previously {drips and all} so it required a good sanding after which I applied several coats of Mambo Pink for durability, sanded it again for an even and smooth finish and waxed it on up for durability and protection. I added a super fun drawer pull to bring out the amazing aqua colors, reupholstered the stool in a fun and colorfully trendy fabric to make it pop, and even added a cute polka dot drawer liner for the perfect finishing touch.

What an adorable desk, vanity, or even lemonade stand this would make!

The desk: 16 in. deep x 28 in. long x 29.75 in. tall
{and drawer: 13.75 in. wide x 9.75 in. deep and sinks 2.25 in.}
The stool: 19in wide x 15 in. deep x 17.5 in. tall
The mirror: 11.75 in. wide x 19 in. tall x .5 in. deep
