Keepin' busy...

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last post and it's not because I have taken a break from furniture. I have actually been quite busy! I am in the process of working on several pieces for a client that I can't wait to share with you when I finish them but in the mean time I wanted to share some pieces I finished recently for some other clients. I have been blessed with not only work, but work that I love, and as I reflect on the Thanksgiving season I know how fortunate I am and my readers are a large part of that. So THANK YOU for stopping by! Keep checking back because there is more to come but until then...Happy Thanksgiving!!

Here is a fun piece I was able to dissect for a client. She brought to me as a dresser but once I was finished with it it served as an amazing entertainment center. I was able to remove all of the drawers and rails from the center and convert it into a cubby for blanket storage. She also wanted a spot for their DVD player so I took out the top drawer and made a shelf in its place. We picked a custom color to match her cabinets and then I finished them with a brown glaze. I love how it turned out...

And then there were these pieces that just needed a color update. My client wanted them white so we went with "Du Jour" from Valspar. Clean and crisp with no distressing...aren't they beautiful?!
